High-efficiency circulator ALPHA SOLAR

High-efficiency circulator ALPHA SOLAR for use in solar thermal systems with variable or constant volumetric flow. However, high-efficiency pumps with electronically commutated motors (ECM), such as the ALPHA SOLAR, must not be controlled via an external speed controller that changes or varies the supply voltage.

The speed can be controlled via a pulse-width modulated signal (PWM signal) provided by the solar system control to optimize solar energy yield and system temperature. This also significantly reduces the pump's power consumption.

If no PWM signal is available, the ALPHA SOLAR can be set to one of 4 constant speeds. The pump is then only switched on and off via the control.
