Included are 2 flat-sealing screw connections for 28 mm pipe (press fitting), which can of course also be soldered with copper.

This is a regulating valve that is installed in domestic hot water circulation lines if they are branched. For example, in a hotel where several domestic hot water circulation lines are present. It works as follows: If the return temperature in the installed line reaches, for example, 50° C, the thermostatic valve closes this line. This means that the other lines, which of course must also have a valve, are still flowed through by the circulation pump until 50° C is also reached there.

The valve does not close 100%, of course, so that the pump is not stalled, a minimum flow remains.

This leads to high energy savings, as no more hot water returns to the boiler. The valve also has a shut-off valve for service work.

We recommend that you also switch off the pump via an electrical return (thermostat) when the temperature is reached. Or a very sophisticated solution, to install an automatic circulation controller that automatically detects when hot water is drawn and only then switches on the pump.
